Inntopia + TRI CardDog
The Inntopia + TRI CardDog integration creates a tokenized gateway that works on both Inntopia CRS and Inntopia eComm sales channels. The integration supports both tokenization and Card Verification Value (CVV). Tokenization requests are returned by First Data, and transactions are processed through the Transaction Resources, Inc. (TRI) merchant account.
Note: Credit Card Authorization Service Cutoff Time: Credit card transactions are recorded as of the local date and time for all CRS users. Change the time specified as the daily batch cutoff with your credit card authorization service.
The following transaction types and features are supported by the Inntopia + TRI CardDog integration.
- Purchase
- Void
- Refund
- Tokenization
- Card Verification Value (CVV) Code Capability
- Address Verification Service (AVS)
- Multi-Currency Pricing
- Inntopia sends tokenization request to TRI CardDog with encrypted card data.
- TRI CardDog relays tokenization request to First Data with encrypted card data.
- First Data returns token for the encrypted card to TRI CardDog.
- TRI CardDog returns the token to Inntopia.
Inntopia offers the ability to collect and submit Card Verification Value (CVV) codes for use with TRI CardDog.
If you are a reseller using the TRI CardDog payment gateway and want to request activation of the necessary fields in Inntopia CRS and Inntopia eComm to collect, view, and submit the CVV code for credit-card transactions, contact Inntopia Partner Services.
Note: TRI CardDog CVV filtering is controlled inTRI CardDog; therefore, prior to activating this feature in Inntopia, review the CVV options in your TRI CardDog account to ensure you are collecting/validating CVV in all scenarios that will provide you and your guests the best user experience.
Address Verification Service (AVS) is a part of credit card authorization that aids in preventing fraudulent online transactions by verifying the billing address submitted by a customer with the billing address on file with the credit card company. Once submitted, the credit card company replies to the payment gateway with a response code indicating whether or not the billing address, and subsequently card ownership, is verified as a match.
In the Inntopia-TRI CardDog integration, AVS is supported through TRI CardDog (rather than through an Inntopia setting).
